Rachel Elias Wein founded WeinPlus, a strategy and management consultancy focused exclusively on retail and real estate organizations, in 2008. A consultant to Fortune 500 companies and an experienced development executive, Ms. Wein serves as the principal strategic advisor for industry-leading public and private real estate owners, a top-tier grocery retailer, as well as several boutique real estate firms nationwide.

Partnering with executive leadership, Ms. Wein focuses on identifying and implementing data-driven, portfolio-wide improvements that are adaptable to future needs. She has a proven track record of uncovering and capitalizing on opportunities for growth, bolstering clients’ agility, strengthening cross-functional coordination and promoting innovation.

Prior to founding WeinPlus, Ms. Wein served as a development executive with The Sembler Company and a senior associate with Ernst & Young’s Transaction Real Estate and Construction Advisory practices, counseling clients on over $40 billion in transactions and $2 billion in construction. A licensed architect for ten years, Ms. Wein graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida, Gainesville, where she earned Masters degrees in both real estate and architecture and an Undergraduate degree in architecture. She serves on the boards of directors for the University of Florida’s Kelley A. Bergstrom Real Estate Center and Great Explorations Children’s Museum as well as the Advisory Board of Ravti, a CRE Tech start-up, the Urban Land Institute CRC Gold Council and the ICSC Open Air Conference Committee. Ms. Wein resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, with her husband David and their three sons.
